MULTI LEVEL MARKETING
The Walk And The Old System.
Then called Direct Sale, first came to me when I was working in Penang. This couple which I did not know came to my working place and starts sponsoring me this direct sale business.
Very persistance and determine, they offered to take me to their meeting and so forth that most distributors did then and even now.
Always a learner……..
I went along to learn about this trade, fascinated I joined the company, and its none other than this giant company and great grandfather of direct sale, AMWAY.
I’m so immersed with the business and dreaming of earning big money. The 3 foot rule, anyone that came to me got briefed on the business comp plan. I’m so enthusiasted and working hard on it.
Of course there are the skeptic that will pour cold water on you, word of discouragement, products too expensive, only fools get slaughtered, it won’t work and etc…..
Yes! I admitted, I failed in this. I can’t find any more new prospects after at it for 3 months. In the end, altogether failed…no money no friends and got burned in my pocket. I just don’t understand how those who succeeded.
Fifteen more years down the road, I was again approached by another distributor, this time she came from Hong Kong. She introduced me to nutritional and wellness products. I agreed to her statement that the wellness industries is going to be huge and that the golden age baby boomer are going to take up a huge percentage of the earth population.
Truth to her words, I joined her and again, warm call, cold call, role play, exact duplication (this never works), 3 foot rule, waiting at tables, house party, hotel meeting and lots of travelling.
I work my way up the ladder, seeing some money but not huge enough for me to live comfortably. Being in this business took up most of my time, training downlines, delivered products, helped downlines, travel overseas meeting and I can said I am exhausted.

Having a huge downlines, with no exact duplication, also more and more wellness products coming into the market scene make it more difficult to grow any faster. Consumers would also like to try out new products and better marketing plan.
Slowly, my genealogy tree are no longer active. Many also find difficulty in retaining their downlines from moving away to other companies with new and better comp plan.
However! now I’ll take the supplements for my family and myself for maintaining good health till today. I loved the products. Though I have came across many others wellness products, tried them too but I still preferred this company products. Sometime, when I get know that somebody is going for a treatment regime, I’ll usually gave them this supplements to help reduce the after effect of the treatments.
Normally, I just give them a brief explanation about nutritional value and their goodness, whether they continue or not to take them or go for other companies is their decision. I just loved to share only. Conclusively I would say, most don’t take or did not continue taking supplements are that they are ignorant and the lack of knowledge.
Whatever, I always believed that multi-level-marketing business can’t be that 97% failed, I am sure there must be a better way?
